Write Your Own Trucking Memoir Like I Did.

When I was on the road I can recall a place I went to and it was totally awful actually. It was on April 11, 2020. I was at Knight Transportation with the reefer division, which I enjoy reefer very much. I am reciting my first entry notes here..

“I could the opportunity to complain about how the absolute fuck did I get here in Texas on a truck with the foul stench of dying cattle for miles, But I don’t want to start out that way. Cactus, Texas, what a damn place.. a damned place. So, I’m here on a pick up to deliver to PA, a lot of High End Beef. I’m pretty much at a slaughter house. A Slaughter HOUSE!! MEEE!!!. I swear this is an adventure for sure. From working at a Luxury Spa to travelling by 18 wheels, MANNN!! The Corona Virus has put us in a Global Panic ,that I hoped to be dead before I see something like this”. “Even though stores are shut down and grocery stores are doing a selective process for entry, no cars are on the road. There are periodic quarantines in selective states. I find myself in a grateful place, in a grateful space. My children at this time are in between Colorado and Georgia. All in all they are in a protected place of inconvenience, yes inconvenience. I am also in a place of inconvenience. I have prepared to be in a place where I’m not doing what I like to do. I have done so many things and not like it, each big pill becomes easier to swallow… at least easier than it used to be. Notepad we are about to be really close. I’m mostly alone in my thoughts and crowded here on the truck physically as I have someone on the truck with me all the time. This is so bad for my physical space as I enjoy my own company better and quiet time. I have a new appreciation for solitude and when I get it back I will thank the gods for it.
